Yay!! Now I just hope it's as good as I remember, it's been a long long time since I read it. It could very well be one of those books that are significantly less charming as an adult.
ReplyDeleteHey, I read this when I was small. Liked it.
ReplyDeleteHey I was just thinking about this book! I was noticing how my eyes are a bland hazel color right now, wishing they were silver and I could do cool stuff like her. Hope it is as good as I remember (I was probably 8 or 9 when I read it).
ReplyDeleteI will have to send you a copy of MY book and then I can cut in line.

I read your pick about 8 times in the 5th grade. I spent weeks trying to move things WITH MY MIND. Usually it was the light switch in my room after I'd stayed up too late reading . . .
ReplyDeleteI just knew you would have read House on Mango street. I'm going to have to get more creative. I think you've read (or been currently reading) every single thing I've recommended. My thinking cap's on for next time!
